Working Wednesday - 22 February 2012

From 1 June 2012, a Low Emission Zone for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) of net power 37 to 560 kW will be established in London, based on emissions standards set out in EU Directives 97/68/EC, 2002/88/EC 2004/26/EC and 2006/105/EC.

From that time, NRMM at high risk sites would have to meet that Stage IIIA standard. One year later, that ruling is set to become standard on sites across London. This will, of course, have enormous impact upon any demolition companies working in London and across the UK as other major cities follow suit.

To discuss this important matter, the National Federation of Demolition Contractors will be hosting the first Working Wednesday event of 2012 on 22 February at its Resurgam House headquarters in Hemel Hempstead. NFDC CEO - who will be hosting the event - is calling upon all Corporate Members and Associate Members involved in the supply of mobile equipment to attend.
